The Yangtze River route has long been a strategic focus for Starriver Cruises, and we entered the market ahead of schedule in 2020.
When first entering the Yangtze River market, we upgraded our products and services by drawing on European cruise experience and ship-owner thinking, and continued Starriver Cruises’ “Cruise Ticket + N” sales model. This not only provides visitors with high-quality products at a better price-performance ratio, but also ensures revenue for our partners.
In 2025, Starriver Cruises will further enhance the quality of our popular Chongqing–Wuhan route, upgrading both hardware facilities and software services together with cruise operators. At the same time, we will continue to strengthen the advantages of Starriver Cruises’ customized routes, and develop more diverse and competitive inland river cruise products covering the entire Yangtze River basin.
Mr. Wang Xiao,Deputy General Manager, Starriver Cruises.Mr. Wang introduced Starriver Cruises’ 2024–2025 European river cruise products and route plans for the Danube, Rhine, and Volga rivers.
Meanwhile, Starriver Cruises’ strengths in European ground services cannot be overlooked. Over 20 years of experience in European ground handling and visa services provides the strongest guarantee for the product quality of the Starriver Cruises team.

Since 2016, Starriver Cruises has been growing steadily, gradually moving into the core of the European inland waterway cruise industry. It established a shipping company in Basel, Switzerland, and successfully acquired the vessel Artistry. From a traditional rental contractor years ago, the company has achieved an essential transformation into a three-in-one entity: shipowner, operator, and resource provider.
In 2023, Starriver's fleet will welcome new vessels: Heidelberg, Glory, and Mainz, which will operate on the Danube and Rhine rivers respectively. This will provide strong support for stable capacity in Starriver's European river cruise market. The layout of Volga River products marks that Starriver Cruises is steadily advancing toward becoming the leader of China-Europe inland waterway cruises.
Invited by Starriver Cruises, the Polish Tourism Organization introduced to the guests high-end light-luxury travel programs such as Danube River + wellness & skiing from various perspectives including river cruise product innovation.
